Who we are?
Action for Sustainable Agroforestry (AfSA) is a non-governmental organization that was officially registered to operate in Mainland Tanzania since May 31st, 2017.
Our overall goal is to become a leading organization in addressing community and environmental challenges. We work closely with smallholder farmers, youth, women, and children to promote sustainable development through inclusive and impactful initiatives.
Our Mission
At AfSA, our mission is to restore degraded ecosystems in Tanzania through reforestation, sustainable farming practices, environmentally friendly income-generating activities, and strategic advocacy. We are committed to fostering resilient communities while protecting and revitalizing the natural environment.
